Bidding on Tickets
- Can I make offers on more than one set of tickets?
- Sure!! You can make as many offers as you want and but this is not recommended. Each order is looked at uniquely and individually. If more than on order gets accepted, you are responsible for all of them.
- Why do I need to authorize my credit card when making an offer?
- o Your credit card is preauthorized when making an offer to ensure that it is valid and you will be able to get your tickets as soon as a seller matches your bid, but it is only charged when your offer is accepted.
- o You may see preliminary authorization before your offer is accepted, but this is not an actual charge. Please be aware that once your offer is accepted your offer cannot be cancelled to ensure fairness to the sellers, and your order is final.
- How long is my bid live?
- o You are able to set your own expiration date and time and your bid will be valid up until the date and time you chose. Made a mistake? Contact Us and we’ll help you make your bid or fix it!
- Can I cancel my order?
- o As part of our guarantee to sellers, once the offer is accepted or the tickets are purchased, that cannot be changed or cancelled. For more details please see the User Agreement.
- How do I know if my offer has been accepted?
- o You will receive an email as soon as your offer has been accepted letting you know that your credit card has been charged and when you can expect your tickets. You can view your accepted offers in your “My Account” page.
- What amount should I offer to ensure I the tickets I want?
- o That’s the beauty of Broadwaybids; you can offer any amount you want. We feel every ticket at has a situational value to both the buyer and the seller. However, there are other users placing bids and sellers will only see the highest bid placed, therefore it is important to place competitive and reasonable bids. That’s what our suggested bid prices are for are for!
